Police in Gwinnett County are asking for the public's assistance in locating a Norcross man wanted for allegedly shooting and killing his live-in, former wife on December 21.

A press release from GCPD indicates that they are looking for 35-year old Victor Jose Yaraure Morillo, who is believed to be responsible for the shooting death of 31-year old Jackmerly Jouselis Hernandez-Rodriguez at their shared home on Creeldale Road in Norcross. Police were called to their home for a report of "shots fired" at around 7:00 p.m., to arrive on scene and find Hernandez-Rodriguez deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

Investigators say Morillo fled the scene in a 2016 black Toyota Corolla with a temporary car tag # S2110371, while his whereabouts are unknown as of last report.

Anyone with information regarding Morillo’s location is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 404.577.8477 or Gwinnett County Police Department detectives.
