JEFFERSON, Ga. — The foundation of any football team is the offensive line. Just ask Jefferson quarterback Gavin Markey.
The senior QB has had a path cleared for him more times than not during the playoffs by his bulldozing offensive line. Last week, he rushed for over 200 yards and has more than 600 yards rushing in the playoffs.
It's one of the main reasons the Dragons are averaging 40 points per game in the playoffs.
It's the reason the Jefferson offensive line gets this week's Gaining the Edge award.
