GAINESVILLE, Ga. – Kharim Hughley threw for 200 yards as Gainesville shut out Seckinger, 41-0, Friday night.
After a scoreless first quarter, Big Red exploded in the second with four touchdowns, two by Jeremiah Ware. His first came to open the scoring as he hauled in a pass from 15 yards out before capping the second quarter with a 14-yard scamper that make the score 27-0 at halftime.
Ware started up the third quarter with his third touchdown of the night, this one from 32 yards from Hughley to push the score out to 34-0 before Tre Brown scored the final touchdown of the night at the 5:25 mark in the third.
Hughley was 9-for-15 for 200 yards and three touchdowns, while Ware had 76 total yards offensively with his three touchdowns.
The Red Elephants will welcome Milton to City Park next week.
