Three-month-long drug investigation leads to arrest in Rabun County

A three-month-long drug investigation by the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of a man for the sale of methamphetamine and fentanyl from a Rabun County home.

Law enforcement with RCSO developed information in Oct. 2023 that helped lead to the arrest of Pablo Montalvo, 33, according to authorities.

Rabun County deputies along with officers from the Clayton Police Department executed a search warrant on Dec. 21, 2023 at 181 Barnyard Lane in Rabun County. During the search, authorities found methamphetamine and cocaine.

Montalvo is currently being held at the Rabun County Jail on felony charges for the drugs along with a probation violation.

The investigation is ongoing, according to Rabun County authorities.
