The City of Lula has named Frank Etheridge as its new Assistant City Manager.
The position is new to the city’s operations.
Etheridge has served in local government for close to 30 years following his military service in the U.S. Air Force. He has held positions as both a City and County Manager for numerous communities across Georgia, the most recent with the historic mill town of Porterdale for the past 3 and a half years.
Etheridge has also served in department head positions in planning and zoning, economic development, building permitting and inspections, code enforcement, soil and erosion control, stormwater management, budgeting and financial accountability, and human resources. He earned a Master of Public Administration from Troy University and a Bachelor’s in Geography from the University of Georgia.
Ethridge will officially take over the role prior to March 1st
