After allegedly threatening a man with a knife and biting his chest, a woman turned herself in.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) reports that on June 10, deputies arrived at the residence on Whitehall Road in Lula for the investigation.
Officials say 52-year-old Rhonda Ann Turner went to the residence to confront the victim, a 63-year-old man.
A family member of the victim answered the door at around 8 p.m. and let Turner in.
An argument followed, and Turner confronted him with a kitchen knife in an attempt to stab the victim in the abdomen.
The man grabbed the knife and suffered a cut to his hand. Turner then bit the victim on his chest.
The other occupant pulled Turner away from the victim and she left the residence.
Investigators say that Turner and the victim had been in a relationship in the past. Turner allegedly has addresses in Banks County and Pickens County, South Carolina.
Deputies obtained arrest warrants for felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA) on June 11. Turner eventually turned herself in on June 13 and remains in jail without bond.
