Professional Pickleball is growing, and playing in Georgia this week

The popularity of a major league sport that's not quite tennis or ping pong but somewhere in the middle is growing in leaps and bounds in the metro Atlanta area.

Professional Pickleball has arrived in Georgia, and the first event of the season is today.

Teams will be competing for five million dollars in prize money at the Major League Pickleball (MLP) tournament. 

The four-day event will be held at Life Time Peachtree Corners through September 24th.

Professional Pickleball teams, including the Atlanta Bouncers are secheduled to appear.
