The Gwinnett County Police Department arrested a man Tuesday suspected of shooting another man Sunday night in Lawrenceville.
Gwinnett authorities said Righteous Love Williams, 21, of Jonesboro was charged with Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of Certain Felonies.
Williams was arrested in Clayton County with the assistance of the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office and the Clayton County Police Department SWAT Team.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation and Williams is in custody at the Gwinnett County Jail.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting on Sunday that left one man dead.
Gwinnett County Police officials said the shooting happened around 8 p.m. near Lawrenceville but officers were dispatched to Northside Gwinnett Hospital. At the time of the call, the crime scene was unknown.
When officers arrived at the hospital they discovered the victim, Michael Maddox, 19, of Lawrenceville had been dropped off by three unknown individuals. Detectives said the three individuals are believed to be witnesses and not suspects.
After further investigation, detectives learned the shooting happened on Kentshire Place. The motive for the shooting remains unknown.
