Gwinnett County Police are investigating a Thursday evening shooting in Dacula that left one person dead.
The agency said officers responded at about 11:15 p.m. to a person shot call on Jona Trail in Dacula.
Arriving officers found one dead male with an apparent gunshot wound.
"It appears two males had a type of confrontation before the shooting occurred," a press release from the agency said.
The name of the victim has not been released. No information has been released regarding suspects or subsequent arrests.
