The Gwinnett County Police Department said Friday morning two teenagers were recently arrested in the county in connection with the July shooting death of an 18-year-old in Norcross.
According to a press release from the agency, Salvador Ruiz Gonzalez, 16, and Andy Antonio-Herrera, 15, were arrested in connection with the July 23 death of Andres David Buitrago Castillo, 18. All three were from Norcross.
Officers found Castillio dead in a parking lot in the 1300 block of Graves Road in Norcross at about 10:45 p.m. on July 23.
Both suspects, who are minors, will be tried as adults, according to the agency.
Ruiz-Gonzalez is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies and armed robbery.
Antonio-Herrera is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies and criminal attempt to comment a felony.
Both are being held at a Regional Youth Detention Center.
