A structure fire destroys a vacation home in Alto on Monday afternoon.
Banks County Fire Chief Steve Nichols says in a release that their Fire and Emergency units were called to a fire scene Monday afternoon (July 17th) at 654 Ridge Lane, to find a single-family structure fully involved with flames.
No one was present at the time of the fire and the cause is under investigation by Banks County and the State Fire Marshalls Office.
No injuries were reported.
