A single story home in Braselton was declared a total loss following a fire on Friday night.
Hall County Fire Rescue units responded to the 4500 block of White Horse Drive shortly after 8:00 p.m. and discovered the residence fully involved in flames.
Crews utilized aerial operations to attack the flames and a hydrant across the street to contain the fire and prevent the woods and nearby homes from catching fire.
The homeowner and their dog were able to safely escape the blaze prior to the Fire Rescue crews arrival.
The home, as well as one vehicle in the driveway, is a total loss.
The American Red Cross was notified for two displaced adults.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
