Georgia gas price average decreased slightly at the pump compared to a week ago.
AAA of Georgia's weekly online update shows that drivers are now paying an average price of $3.27 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.
That number comes in 2 cents less than a week ago, 1 cent more than a month ago, and $1.14 less than this time last year.
Gainesville's area prices are among the lowest-average prices in Georgia this week, at $3.18 per gallon. Only the Rome area in Northwest Georgia is seeing a lower average price, at $3.15 per gallon today.
National average price for gasoline this week sits at $3.57 per gallon.
