Man wanted for shoplifting at Dacula Home Depot two different times

The Gwinnett County Police Department has asked for the public's help identifying a man who allegedly shoplifted at a Dacula Home Depot store twice in May.

According to a press release from the agency, the first incident happened on May 13 at the hardware store on Hamilton Creek Parkway in Dacula. In that incident, the man allegedly loaded a shopping cart with merchandise valued at $1,300 and gave the cashier fraudulent account information.

The second incident happened on May 27, when the man entered the same store, loaded his shopping cart with $1600 of merchandise and proceeded to the cashier. He allegedly provided fraudulent account information to the cashier again.

In both incidents, the man did not provide any money for the purchases and left the store without paying.

He was described as a black male with a skinny build, short dreadlocks and a black mustache. He wore a green shirt with camo print, blue jeans and gray/blue sneakers in one of the surveillance images.

Anyone with information about the man's identity should contact Gwinnett County Police Detectives at (770) 513-5300. To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Atlanta Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-8477 or visit www.stopcrimeATL.com.
