Georgia Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be performing pavement repairs on Mount Vernon Road/State Route 283 between State Route 60 and State Route 52 in Hall County throughout the month of May.
Maintenance crews will be applying liquid asphalt and a layer of aggregate to seal the roadway.
There will be daily lane closures in place. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic through work zones.
The closures will occur Monday through Thursday during the day from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. from May 1, through June 1, 2023, weather permitting.
The pavement preservation will run for 9 miles beginning at SR 60 on Mt. Vernon Road/ SR 283 and straight to SR 52.
Delays are anticipated, so consider using area alternate routes.
