A Franklin County man has been arrested for allegedly possessing and distributing child sex abuse material.
In a release, Georgia Bureau of Investigation officials said Jimmy Dickerson, Jr. was arrested Thursday after an investigation into his online activity. Authorities received a tip to investigate Dickerson from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Dickerson was arrested by GBI officials along with the Lavonia Police Department and the Georgia Department of Community Supervision. He is currently in the Franklin County Detention Center.
