Two people were hospitalized with what authorities called minor injuries after a wreck in Habersham County Monday afternoon.
According to a report from the Georgia State Patrol, the crash happened at around 4:30 p.m. on U.S. 441 Business just north of Cannon Bridge Road near Demorest when a Subaru failed to yield while entering the roadway from a business. It was hit in the driver's side by an oncoming Chevrolet.
Both the driver of the Subaru, Vickie Hoose, age 62, and her passenger, Jennifer Pitts, age 42, both of Alto, suffered minor injuries. Hoose was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
The driver of the Chevrolet, Richard Gibson, age 58 of Demorest, was also taken to Gainesville with minor injuries.
According to the state patrol, charges are pending.
