Level Grove Road between Wayside Street and Hoyt Street in Cornelia has been reopened, and power has been restored to the area.

Level Grove Road between Wayside Street and Hoyt Street in Cornelia is completely closed due to a downed tree in the roadway.
A Facebook post from the Cornelia Police Department Wednesday morning said the roadway is unpassable, with three power lines also down.
The department reported that Georgia Power estimates power will be out in the area for five to eight hours as crews work to restore the lines. Commuters are advised to avoid the area until further notice.
