A Gainesville man has been charged with several drug offenses following a search warrant at his residence by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit.
Patrick O'Neal Mitchell Johnsa, 22, was arrested on Monday afternoon at his home on Trudy Circle.
Investigators seized approximately five grams of cocaine, two pounds of marijuana, 19 ounces of gummies with a high percentage of THC and $7,600 in cash.
The estimated street value of the drugs is $22,400.
According to a preliminary investigation, Johnsa received the drugs through the mail from fraudulent addresses in California.
Johnsa was charged with the following felonies:
- Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of cocaine
- Possession of a schedule I drug with intent to distribute
- Possession of a schedule I drug
- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Possession of marijuana
Johnsa was also charged by authorities with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
He remained in the Hall County Jail without bond Wednesday morning, Feb. 15.
The case remains under investigation.
