WINDER — After a pair of tough Region 8-4A losses to open the season, East Hall got its first win of the year on Saturday, routing Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy 9-1 on the road.
Sophomore Amari Burce was dominant in the circle tossing a one-hitter while fanning 15 in six innings.
Burce and Gracie Ausborn each had two hits to help pace the offense. Aaliyah Madrigal drove in a pair of runs for the Lady Vikings (1-2).
