The Gwinnett Police Foundation awarded seven college scholarships Thursday, July 21, at $1500.00 each during their quarterly board meeting.
According to a press release from Gwinnett Police Department the scholarships are awarded to children of active Gwinnett Police Department employees pursuing academic excellence and leadership. They are designed reward, encourage, and assist the students.
The Gwinnett Police Foundation is nonprofit charitable organization comprised of civic leaders from the community whose primary purpose is to provide charitable and educational services to members of law enforcement, their families, and the community they serve. Congratulations to the scholarship recipients and their accomplishments.
