Search continues for Georgia Guidestones bomber

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is continuing to seek out the person(s) responsible for Wednesday’s explosion that destroyed the Georgia Guidestones in Elbert County.

A new surveillance video released by the GBI is not clear but shows an individual running to the memorial then away shortly before the explosion.

District Attorney Parks White said in a statement this week Georgia law classifies the Georgia Guidestones as a public building, and as such destroying the structure with an explosive means anyone convicted of the crime would face a minimum of 20 years in prison without parole.
