Early voting polls open today in Hall County

Hall County is holding Sunday voting today, and it will do so again next Sunday, after state election officials allowed two days of optional Sunday voting days in 2022.

Only the Brenau Downtown Center and Mulberry Creek Community Center polling places are open for Sunday hours. Polls are open 1-5 on Sunday.

It's the first time Hall County has allowed Sunday voting. Combined with two mandatory Saturday voting days, Hall County voters will be able to cast ballot any day between now and May 20, the last day of the early voting period.

Primary election day in May 24.

As of Friday, the last day numbers were updated, nearly 3,000 people had voted early in the county. Over 88 percent of those ballots have been cast in the Republican primary. About 1,600 absentee ballots have been mailed out.
