A suspect in a 2011 Hall County child molestation case was arrested Thursday morning after a traffic stop on Calvary Church Road in Gainesville.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said Leonel Antonio Reyes-Zuniga, 45, was pulled over by a Georgia State Patrol trooper just after 7:45 a.m.
The trooper arrested Reyes-Zuniga for driving while unlicensed and he was taken to the Hall County Jail.
During the booking process, a jail officer found an outstanding warrant dated Sept. 13, 2012, charging the suspect with child molestation.
According to the warrant, the alleged crimes occurred between Sept. 1, 2011, and Oct. 19.
The female victim in the case was 13 at the time and Reyes-Zuniga was 32.
Reyes-Zuniga remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond.
