Habersham County named the new interim fleet maintenance director on Thursday.
Benjamin “Benji” Stewart was selected for the position after former fleet maintenance director Steve Seabolt left the county.
According to a Habersham County press release, Stewart has over 30 years of auto mechanic experience. He served as the assistant fleet maintenance director for two years and has been with Habersham County for a total of six years.
Habersham County also named the new assistant fleet maintenance director. Patty Lee will take over Stewart’s former role.
"I have lived here my whole life and love to serve the citizens of Habersham County," Mr. Stewart said in a press release.
