The Winder Police Department found two people shot to death in a home in the city on March 5.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said in a press release officers were requested to conduct a welfare call at 180 Bush Chapel Drive. When officers arrived at the home, they found the bodies of 29-year-old Marcus Gardener and 30-year-old Christina Virginia Smith. One of the victims’ SUV is also missing.
The GBI is assisting The Winder Police Department with this investigation. According to the GBI, Gardener and Smith were last seen or heard from two days prior to March 5.
