DANIELSVILLE — East Hall routed last place Madison County 56-30 on the road on Tuesday in both teams’ Region 8-4A finales.
The win assured the Lady Vikings (11-12, 4-8 Region 8-4A) a fifth-place finish.
Alexis Burce led East Hall with 16 points. Amari Burce had 15 and Maleah Harrison 10 for the Lady Vikings.
East Hall next will take on North Oconee in the first round of the Region 8-4A Tournament next Tuesday at Chestatee.

The Lady Lightning held on for a win in the first round of the GAPPS Region I-3A Tournament Tuesday night to qualify for the upcoming GAPPS 3A state tournament.
LCA next will play in the second round on Thursday against No. 1 seed Westminster Christian Academy in the semifinals.
The defense sparked the offense in the second half as Ashley Avery and Camille Hoffman took control on both ends of the court for the Lady Lightning.
Avery led all scorers with 21 points and pulled down 11 boards. Hoffman added 15 points and 11 boards.

WINDER-BARROW 27
Taylor Romano led the Lady Wolves (20-3, 11-0 Region 6-7A) with 17 points in the win over Winder-Barrow at the Buford Arena on Tuesday.
Tatum Ozment and MaKenzie Pickens scored 13 points each, while Tamori Plantin added 10.
The Lady Wolves held Winder-Barrow to seven points in the second half.

Sarah Johnson broke the school record for rebounds in a season with 266 in the loss to Jackson County at home on Tuesday. Johnson surpassed Whitney Randolph for the rebounding record.
The Lady Panther, however, we able to hold off a late Johnson charge to get the win behind a big second half from Kennedy Harris. Harris scored all of her 18 points in the final two quarters to help stall Johnson's rally that saw the Knights get within eight points.
Hanna Mahoney led the Lady Panthers with 19 points and Miracle Laniado had 13.
Ashley Mintz led the Lady Knights with 16 points, and Sarah Johnson had 10.
LAMBERT 66,
GAINESVILLE 31
After Lambert (14-11, 7-5 Region 6-7A) opened the game on a 16-5 run, the Lady Red Elephants found some rhythm behind Keke Jones, Zaria Williams and Dreya Maddox in the second quarter. Gainesville (8-15, 1-11 Region 6-7A) cut the Lady Longhorns lead to 21-15, but gave up an 11-0 run to end the first half down 32-15.
Lambert extended its run to 23 straight points and a 44-15 lead en route to the blowout win at Gainesville on Tuesday.
In total, Lambert outscored Gainesville 35-3 from late second quarter to the end of the third quarter.
Jones led the Lady Red Elephants with 14 points. Briley Elder and Shelby Lawerence scored 13 each to pace Lambert.
