The Gwinnett County Police Department said Friday afternoon it was searching for a woman accused of robbing two banks in the county just a day apart.

According to a press release from the agency, Janae Samantha Fareaux, 22, is accused of first entering the Wells Fargo bank at 1028 Killian Hill Rd. in Lilburn on Dec. 14. Fareaux allegedly demanded to go to the vault but left without getting any money.

The next day, on Dec. 15, Fareaux entered the Truist Bank at 2171 Pleasant Hill Rd. in Duluth and passed the teller a note. She then left the scene with over $2,000 from the bank.

She was last seen wearing a long black wig, gray t-shirt over a long sleeve black shirt, black pants, black shoes and green socks. It's believed she may be driving a red or maroon 2019-2020 Hyundai Elantra.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Fareaux should contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477 or visit this link. Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
