Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrests woman accused of assault

Officers with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrested one woman Tuesday night for allegedly assaulting another woman.
 
The assault happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the 5000 block of Memory Lane.
 
Shan-Teera Rolquia Green, 30 of Austell, is accused of assaulting a 41-year-old female victim. According to authorities, Green grabbed, pulled and put her hands around the victim’s neck. She also broke a glass panel in the door of the house.
 
The crimes occurred in front of two children.
 
Green knew the victim and she had allegedly been harassing her over the phone prior to the assault. 
 
Deputies stopped Green’s vehicle in the Holly Hock Drive and Union Church Road area. She reportedly kicked deputies as they were arresting her.
 
Green remains in the Hall County Jail without bond. She is charged with: aggravated assault, battery, harassing phone calls, criminal trespass, two counts of third-degree cruelty to children, two counts of obstruction of an officer, open container violation and driving while unlicensed.
