Lanier Christian Academy knocked off region foe Westminster Christian Academy, 3-1, at the Atlanta Extreme Volleyball Club on Monday.
After splitting the first two sets (25-20, 23-25), the Lightning won the next two (25-14, 25-17) to capture the region win and remain one game behind Westminster in the Region 3-2A standings.
Arianna Winfrey had 3 blocks and 12 digs, while Emma Kate Kalinauskas had 7 aces, 9 kills and 3 blocks. Evelyn Keefer turned in 10 aces, 3 kills, 4 blocks and 11 digs, Holly Ann Keefer had 6 aces, 5 kills, 12 assists, and 6 digs, Lily Martin had 6 kills, 2 blocks, and 12 assists, and Nadia Lulinski had 10 kills, and 2 aces.
