North Hall's Kevin Rochester had the top performance in any of the 19 games across the area on opening night of the high school football season.
Behind a talented offensive line and his quarterback, Bradford Puryear, the senior running back rushed for 248 yards on 22 carries and a touchdown in the 23-14 win over Paulding County last week.
His touchdown -- a 50-yard run -- was crucial in the fourth quarter as it gave the Trojans some breathing room and a nine-point advantage.
