The National Weather Service reports a brief, weak tornado touched down in Rabun County Tuesday afternoon.
The service in Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina determined the EF-0 twister touched down on Warwoman Road in Mountain City around 2:35 p.m.
Several trees with large limbs were downed and damage continued into the woods, making it "impossible to determine" the actual extent of the damage or the length of the path of the tornado.
