Officials monitor creek in Braselton after sewage spill

Over 42,000 gallons of sewage spilled into Duncan Creek in Braselton last Friday. According to a release just issued from the town, the spill occurred on Highway 211 near the bridge north of Tuscany Drive. 

While a section of piping was repaired to resolve the issue, they are continuing to sample the water, both upstream and downstream, to monitor any harmful effects from the accident.
