A Gainesville man is in jail after he reportedly pointed a gun at a vehicle at the Green Street and Ridgewood Avenue intersection.
A report from the Gainesville Police Department indicated the incident, which police classified as a case of road rage, unfolded at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 17 as rush hour was beginning.
The report said Jamil Andre Ocasio Luciano, 21, brandished the weapon at a man, a woman and a juvenile in the vehicle. Nobody was injured.
Luciano was arrested a short time later at his home on six criminal charges including two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of child cruelty, possession of a firearm and misdemeanor marijuana possession.
At last check, Luciano remained in the Hall County Jail on a $3,900 bond.
