By AccessWDUN Staff

ADAIRSVILLE — The No. 4 seeded North Hall girls soccer team upset top seed  Adairsville, 2-0, in the first round of the Class 3A tournament on the road Tuesday.

Jaylee Canaday and Michelle Tymchuck scored one goal each to lead the Lady Trojans' offensive performance.

“The team worked incredibly hard tonight, they battled for every loose ball and I’m tremendously proud of them," Coach Alex Wright said. "We have an honest group of kids that wear their hearts on their sleeves. I look forward to seeing us compete with the same enthusiasm in the sweet 16.”

Canaday pushed North Hall ahead, 1-0, in the first half. Tymchuck's goal game later in the second half.
