A loaded tractor trailer broke in half on Old Candler Road in Gainesville Tuesday shortly after noon.
Crews spent several hours cleaning up the wreckage, according to a post on the Hall County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, and the road was closed for almost six hours with detours in place.
The incident occurred in the 2000 block of Old Candler Road, blocking the road at Syfan Logistics. As a result, there was no thru traffic from GA 60/Candler Road to Old Candler Road. The railroad was not impacted.
No one was injured.
The Georgia Motor Carrier Compliance Division responded.
