Domestic call leads Hall County drug agents to marijuana, heroin

By AccessWDUN staff

A domestic call earlier this week ended up in a drug bust at a residence on West Drive in Gainesville.

Uniformed officers were called to home Wednesday night, according to the Hall County Sheriff''s Office.

The officers determined there was enough evidence at the scene to call the Gainesville/Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS Unit) to investigate further.

Agents found and confiscated 25 marijuana plants, five bags of processed marijuana and a quantity of heroin at the residence. They estimated the street value of the drugs at $12,500.

Bryan Eric Pardue, 34, and Payton Preston Reece, 18, were arrested at the scene. Authorities did not say how the two knew one another.

Pardue was charged with  manufacturing marijuana, felony possession of marijuana and possession of heroin.  Reece was charged with manufacturing marijuana and felony possession of marijuana.

The last check of the Hall County Jail inmate roster showed both men were still in custody.
