Gwinnett County Police seek man in connection to double homicide in Flowery Branch

Update, 6:09 p.m. 3/26 :

The Gwinnett County Police Department is looking for William Jerome Adams in connection to a double homicide that occurred in Flowery Branch this afternoon.

When officers arrived on the scene in the 5000 block of Apple Grove Road, they found two victims that had been shot. The victims were a 40-year-old woman and her 16-year-old son. Their names are not being released until officers can notify the next of kin.

According to a press release from the department, officers believe Adams was in a relationship with the mother.

Adams, 24, is around 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds.

Officers believe Adams fled the area in a 2010 black Audi passenger car with Georgia tag RWT9487.

Gwinnett County Police are on the scene of a double homicide in the Flowery Branch area.

Officials with the department said in an email statement the incident involved two people. The location was in the 5000 block of Apple Grove Road.

Cpl. Collin Flynn said one adult and one juvenile were found shot to death, and investigators do not believe the shootings are the result of a murder-suicide.
