Wanted fugitive arrested in Rabun County Wednesday

Levis Allen McCoy of Clayton, who had been a fugitive on the run since October 2020, was arrested during a raid in Rabun County Wednesday.

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest this morning, saying the sheriff’s office, Georgia State Patrol SWAT Team and FBI North Georgia Major Offenders Task Force executed the search warrant leading to McCoy’s arrest.

McCoy was arrested on an outstanding felony parole warrant, and also is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and trafficking heroin.

Also arrested was Keldon Adam Dixon of Tiger, who is charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Both were booked in at the Rabun County Detention Center.

The case remains active.
