Cherokee Bluff, Jefferson and Rabun County earned wins on makeup game Thursday in northeast Georgia.
Corey Thomas scored 24 points to lead the Cherokee Bluff Bears (12-10, 7-2 Region 7-3A), who were up just four points at the half, on a 28-14 run in the third quarter to blow open the game en route to a 75-63 win over Lumpkin County.
Jones Harris led the Indians (9-10, 3-6 Region 7-3A) with 19 points.
In Jefferson, the Dragons (14-4, 7-2 Region 8-4A) shot past Chestatee (6-14, 4-5 Region 8-4A), 78-44, at home. Kadin Bailey had 20 points to lead Jefferson's scoring, while Spencer Darby scored 17 points, 15 from 3-point land, and Dalen Gales chipped in 13 points.
In Tallulah Falls, Rabun County survived the Indians charge to win the non-region battle, 53-44
