60-year old Jeffery Dwayne Bennett was transported to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville in critical condition Monday afternoon after a car accident at Tap It Growlers on Thompson Bridge Road.
Bennett was traveling north on Thompson Bridge Road in a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, then left the roadway and struck a 2008 Sprinter van in the parking lot, according to Sergeant Kevin Holbrook with the Gainesville Police Department. The car was lodged underneath the van.
No other injuries were reported.
The Gainesville Police Department is investigating the accident.
