Kathleen Toomey, the commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Health, said Friday she is pleased with the work a task force in Hall County is doing to battle the coronavirus here in the region's Hispanic community. She and Insurance Commissioner John King were in Gainesville earlier this week to meet with the task force of doctors, health care officials, local elected officials, pastors and others in the community.
She made her comments on Friday's edition of WDUN's "Morning Talk with Martha Zoller." You can hear the complete interview by clicking the link above.
