As the Georgia Department of Transportation continues work on the Browns Bridge replacement project at the Hall-Forsyth county line, motorists will need to watch for single lane closures next week.
The closures are planned Monday through Friday, April 6 through 10 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.
Crews will be offloading materials and equipment for the project. The work will occur as long as the weather cooperates, according to Georgia DOT.
The ongoing project will replace the existing structure with a new bridge featuring two 12-foot shoulders and 8-foot shoulders. The project was awarded to Scott Bridge Company, Inc. in October 2017 for approximately $28 million.
