Firefighters from four Union County stations, Towns County and the Georgia Forestry Commission spent several hours extinguishing a house fire on Trackrock Church Road, Blairsville, Friday night.
The home was fully involved by fire when the first units arrived, according to a Union County Fire Department social media post.
The fire spread into the woods, and Georgia Forestry Commission personnel worked to contain it.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
The house was a total loss, but there were no injuries.
