Towns-Union Master Gardeners to host Plant Sale in Blairsville

By Giselle Mesquital Intern

The Towns-Union Master Gardeners are set to host a plant sale at the end of May in Blairsville. The event will provide guests with various options and an information booth.

The sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 25 and will run from 8 a.m. until noon at the Union County Farmers Market, 290 Farmers Market Way in Blairsville.

Plants including native, pollinator-friendly, easy-to-grow for beginners and more will be available for sale at the event.

Those new to gardening can take advantage of this year’s information booth with knowledgeable volunteers who will be there to assist with plant selections.

Those in attendance may also tour the adjacent Gold Medal Garden, a demonstration garden filled with plants from Georgia's mountain regions.

Pets are not permitted at the plant sale, and only cash and checks will be accepted.
