A female has been found deceased in a Barrow County residence, with little information as to what happened. On Sunday morning, March 8, authorities were called to 88 Goldshore Way in Statham after a neighbor saw a blood trail from the driveway to the entrance of the home. According to the Barrow County Sheriff's Department, deputies also noticed blood stains on the driveway, along with some footprints in the blood, as well, leading to the front door of the residence.
After seeing more suspected blood through a window, deputies entered the home and found a white female deceased inside.
The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is working with the Statham Police Department and Georgia Bureau of Investigation to determine what happened. More information is expected to be released on Monday, March 9, as details emerge.
