HCSO seeks ‘person of interest’

By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor

The public is being asked for help in identifying a “person of interest” in an investigation by Property Crimes Investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

There are surveillance pictures of the woman on the sheriff’s department’s Facebook page, along with contact information for anyone who feels they can help in identifying her.

When asked for further information in the case, a spokesman for the sheriff’s department, Greg Cochran, said Saturday there was none available at this time.  “We have released all we can at this point. We will update accordingly,” Cochran wrote in an email.

The Facebook posting asks that anyone with information on the woman’s identity contact Investigator Newberry at (470) 623-0303.

The posting emphasizes she is considered a “person of interest” at this time.
