A Hoschton man was arrested Thursday for driving under the influence with two kids in his vehicle after deputies conducted a traffic stop at Clover Mill Rd. and Doster Creek Rd. in Jefferson.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Jason Ray Parker, age 48, was found with methamphetamine, marijuana, oxycodone and more in the vehicle. He is currently in the Jackson County jail on drug possesion charges, endangering a child by DUI and obstructing an intersection.
DFACS has gotten involved since the charges involve juveniles.
