GAINESVILLE — North Hall has overcome all the doubters this season to advance into the second round of the Class 3A playoffs.
A big part of the success comes from a brutal rushing attack, led by Clark Howell, the Class 3A leading rusher, with 1,716 yards and 23 touchdowns, including a smackdown performance against North Murray in the first round of the playoffs -- 233 yards and two scores.
Clark, quarterback Bradford Puryer and fullback Kevin Rochester have combined to rush for 2,928 yards and 38 scores.
It's obvious what has given the Trojans the edge this season.
