A Winder man was killed and four other people were hurt Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in Barrow County.
The Georgia State Patrol was called to investigate the accident on Georgia 316 near Kilcrease Road around 6 p.m.
The victim was a back-seat passenger in a Honda Accord that was struck from behind by a GMC Yukon, according to information released by state troopers. The investigation showed William Tyler Gamble, 23, was in the right rear passenger seat; he was not wearing a seat belt.
Three other people in the Accord were injured. They were identified as Nihad Nimer Muhanna, 21, of Winder, Zion Rohan Walker, 21, of Auburn and Kerry Bryan Martin, Jr., 23 of Winder.
The driver of the Yukon, Kevin James Connelly, 42, of Atlanta was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Barrow. Troopers said they are investigating possible impairment on Connelly's part; charges are pending.
